Raising Cane’s, a restaurant known for its ONE LOVE® Chicken Finger meals, will celebrate the opening of its second Milwaukee area location at 12660 W. Capitol Dr. on Sept. 5 with a host of festivities and giveaways.
The Brookfield location will sport an aesthetic that celebrates local history through vibrant graphics and memorabilia that celebrate the days when the now bustling suburb was home to more cows than people. Raising Cane’s is honoring that history with special signage, a town map and a nod to Charles and Caroline Wilder, parents of “Little House on the Prairie” author Laura Ingalls Wilder, who were among the first settlers in the area.
Why attend?
In addition to a first peek at the restaurant, guests can participate in numerous activities and giveaways on Grand Opening Day (Sept. 5), including a DJ spinning tunes to entertain guests in line.
8 to 9 a.m.: Line up & enter to win food for a year. Guests can enter for a chance to win a “Lucky 20” drawing which will award 20 customers (age 13+) with free Raising Cane’s for a year. The drawing will be held shortly after 9 a.m. and customers must be present to win.
9 a.m.: Watch the ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce and local leaders followed by a check presentation to the Elmbrook Humane Society.
10 a.m.: Win more things. Doors will officially open. The first 100 customers to purchase a Raising Cane’s Combo will receive a commemorative hat and card good for a free Box Combo on a return visit.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Take advantage of photo ops with a custom Wisconsin-themed backdrop.
Matt Moon, Raising Cane’s area leader of restaurants, says he is eager to become part of the Brookfield Community.
“The excitement here is palpable,” said Moon. “People stop me all the time to ask when we’re opening and share their love for Raising Cane’s. I’m looking forward to continuing to make this location a local favorite for any Customer who visits.”
Beginning Sept. 5, Raising Cane’s Brookfield will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
