OnMilwaukee.com's Jeff Sherman suggested a lovely idea for a blog. He asked what recipe from a Milwaukee restaurant would I give anything to have.

This is actually a great topic, because it would have to be something I wouldn't automatically be able to guesstimate the ingredients and reproduce on my own.

For me, there are a couple I would like, and I'm sure OnMilwaukee.com readers have many, many more. Maybe if we compile them here, some of the restaurants will humor us and provide the recipes.

Mine are the lobster bisque from Belleview Bistro, which was simply too rich and delicious to estimate all the ingredients (although I highly suspect at least a pound of butter may be involved), and the cold raspberry soup served at the Boulevard Inn.
