For the first time in a quarter-century, Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey are returning to Milwaukee for six performances hosted at Fiserv Forum on Oct. 13-15.

And while the companies' iconic names are deeply rooted in traditional live show history, this Fiserv Forum stop won't be your grandparents' "Greatest Show on Earth." The family-friendly traveling circus show has been reimagined for modern audiences, utilizing old-school showmanship and awe-inspiring feats – like highwire routines, trapeze acts and bicycle tricks – with new technology and live-show innovations. The result features new tricks and acts like a triangular highwire, criss-cross flying trapeze performers, the extreme box jump trampoline bounding bikes of all kinds into the air and more.

“We’re reintroducing Ringling at a time when families are seeking shared entertainment experiences that provide joy, connection and moments of togetherness,” said Kenneth Feld, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Feld Entertainment, in a release. "To redefine Ringling for today’s audiences, we started with a blank slate and evolved all aspects from production to performance to meet the needs of modern families, ultimately creating a massive playground that delivers an incredible and unique performance that can only be called The Greatest Show On Earth.”

Tickets for the six reimagined circus performances are on sale now at Fiserv Forum's website or Ticketmaster.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
