Great news from our friends at WMSE 91.7 this morning: they had overwhelming interest in their tweaked-for-2021, carry-out version of the popular and delicious annual station fundraiser. Usually, the event is indoors, one-day and at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, but this year, it takes place over the course of a week at 40 different local restaurants.

Rockabilly Chili "Super Friends Edition" runs from Monday, April 5 through Sunday, April 11 and participants will be able to choose from more than 40 spots to pick up a chili. Proceeds will go toward the radio station.

Here's a list of participating restaurants:

  • The Bay
  • Beans & Barley
  • Braise
  • Brewed Café
  • Café Corazon
  • Café Hollander
  • Café Lulu
  • Colectivo Coffee (multiple locations)
  • Company Brewing
  • Dorsia

Soon, WMSE will have a menu to print out listing the restaurants and their chili offerings. Participants are encouraged to take a photo and tag it with #wmsechili as a vote for their pick for best meat, heat, unique and veggie. The person who hits the most spots will win a WMSE Chili Fun Pack.
