Runaway Meatball, a Sicilian-style take-out restaurant, will open soon in the former Mama Mia’s space at 3590 N. Oakland Ave.

The restaurant will offer pizzas, sandwiches, chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, onion rings and other items. Carry-out and delivery will be available.

Runaway Meatball is the second Italian eatery to open in Shorewood recently. In 2012, Falbo Brothers opened at 2213 E. Capitol Dr. Two more pizza restaurants are scheduled to open in Shorewood this year, as well.
