Next Wednesday afternoon, some of Milwaukee's young upcoming culinary students and faculty will cook for a cause.
AIR MKE, the restaurant/classroom of the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Wisconsin located in the P.H. Dye Building in the Third Ward, will play host to the first Partnerships for Scholarships luncheon. The end goal of the luncheon – other than serving up a scrumptious meal – is to benefit the Ai Culinary Student Scholarship Fund.
The meal will be a five-course fixed-price menu cooked up by AIR MKE's students and faculty that will showcase a variety of Emmi Roth cheeses, one of the luncheon's partners.
The event starts at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28. The meal costs $30, with all the funds collected benefiting the student scholarship fund. Make a reservation at AIR MKE's website.
