"Mad Men" is done, as is "Entourage." And, my favorite show, "Friday Night Lights" is only on Direct TV until spring. So, what's this boy to do?

I need a new show, so I'm asking you for help.

First, some back ground on my "general" viewing habits. My most watched "show" is, by far, live sports; mainly professional and college basketball, but I'm also a soccer, baseball and Packers fan. As for the programs on my DVR, here's my current list:

"Scrubs"
"30 Rock"
"Real Sports" with Bryant Gumbel
"Studio 42" with Bob Costas
"Man V. Food"
"V"
"Mad Men"
"Entourage"
"Friday Night Lights"
"Lost" (although I'm a full season behind and eagerly awaiting season five on DVD)

That's it.

Take a good look at the list. Analyze, judge and react.

A few observations, if I may. Most of the shows have either already completed their current seasons or only air occasionally. "Scrubs" is back but star Zach Braff will be in only a handful of episodes this season and "30 Rock" is already deep into its season.

I'm not big on sitcoms, other than "Scrubs" and "30 Rock." I've tried "The Office." It's not doing it for me. Some of my all time favorite shows are: "The Sopranos," "Sports Night," "Studio 60," the short-lived "Love Monkey" with Tom Cavanagh, the first few seasons of "Everybody Hates Chris" and, strangely, the original "Cupid" with Jeremy Pivens (1998). I'm sure there are others through the years, but these stand out.

I'll watch random HGTV and Food Network shows, but I've never really invested in one. Never invested in realty TV, either. Won't.

So, there you have it. I'm a sports, decent drama and solid sitcom guy. And, I'll admit that I have a hard time committing, much less sampling new shows. They must come highly recommended for them to be added to the DVR.

Truth be told, with last season's "Lost" shipping on DVD next week I might just crank though that and not even need a new show because once I add Bucks and MU games to the mix, I'm about at my viewing time max. But, I really do want a new, killer show that's worth my time.

So, have at Milwaukee. Use the Talkbacks to sell me on a new show.
