If you’re a fan of hard seltzer and wonder where your festivals are – why should the whiskey and beer people have all the fun, amiright? – wonder no more.
New York-based Cannonball Productions is taking its Seltzerland festival – with samples of more than 50 hard seltzer flavors – to golf courses around the Midwest in June and Milwaukee is the first stop!
The Milwaukee event will take place Saturday, June 5 at Oak Hills Golf Course, 10360 S, Howell Ave., in Oak Creek.
Seltzerland debuted in 2020.
At the socially distanced hard seltzer festival, attendees in distanced groups of 20 and fewer are scattered around the fairway and immersing themselves in fizzy fun. The dozens of samples come from well-known national brands like White Claw, Press, Basic, Volley, Vizzy, Coors, Mike's Hard Lemonade and others, alongside locals, too.
There will also be brunch bites from Hormel Black Label Bacon as well as other little noshes, plus lots of seltzer swag, too, at the two-and-a-half-hour-experience.
Tickets – general admission timed tickets begin at $29 and VIP tickets start at $49 – go on sale on Tuesday, March 30 at seltzerland.com.
Festival vendors and staff will be masked and wearing protective gloves. Attendees are also asked to mask up when not tasting and to also wash their hands frequently and use hand sanitizer.
Guests with different time slots must keep at least six feet apart. Vendors will also be distantly spaced.
Restrooms will have a dedicated porter to ensure regular cleaning.
If you’re a seltzer fan – and especially if you were saddened when the All Fizzed Up seltzer event was canceled last year – you won’t want to miss Seltzerland. But, please, be safe.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he lived until he was 17, Bobby received his BA-Mass Communications from UWM in 1989 and has lived in Walker's Point, Bay View, Enderis Park, South Milwaukee and on the East Side.
He has published three non-fiction books in Italy – including one about an event in Milwaukee history, which was published in the U.S. in autumn 2010. Four more books, all about Milwaukee, have been published by The History Press.
With his most recent band, The Yell Leaders, Bobby released four LPs and had a songs featured in episodes of TV's "Party of Five" and "Dawson's Creek," and films in Japan, South America and the U.S. The Yell Leaders were named the best unsigned band in their region by VH-1 as part of its Rock Across America 1998 Tour. Most recently, the band contributed tracks to a UK vinyl/CD tribute to the Redskins and collaborated on a track with Italian novelist Enrico Remmert.
He's produced three installments of the "OMCD" series of local music compilations for OnMilwaukee.com and in 2007 produced a CD of Italian music and poetry.
In 2005, he was awarded the City of Asti's (Italy) Journalism Prize for his work focusing on that area. He has also won awards from the Milwaukee Press Club.
He has be heard on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee talking about his "Urban Spelunking" series of stories, in that station's most popular podcast.
