Four years ago, the Milwaukee Mayor proclaimed Thursday, Nov. 3 Signature Sweets Day in honor of Signature Sweets Bakery, 3801 N. Oakland Ave.
As a result, owner and seven-time Food Network baking contender Kimberly Hall, celebrates the day each year with a very special celebration.
This year, guests are invited to stop by and show their support for the local business. All customers who make a purchase from the bakery on Signature Sweets Day will be entitled to a free cupcake as well as giveaways for items like gift cards, a free 3D birthday cake or holiday cakes.
While you're there, be sure to ask Hall about her upcoming television appearances, including another baking competition slated to air on the Food Network later this year (we'll have more on that as information becomes available later this month).
Lori is an avid cook whose accrual of condiments and spices is rivaled only by her cookbook collection. Her passion for the culinary industry was birthed while balancing A&W root beer mugs as a teenage carhop, fed by insatiable curiosity and fueled by the people whose stories entwine with each and every dish. When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or recording the FoodCrush podcast, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
