Three random updates from a walk along Water Street yesterday.
Snow -- The area's lone pile of snow sits in a shady and chilly area just next to the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts' parking garage. Despite warm temperatures, this final face of old man winter refuses to melt into spring.
Tequila -- The building that most recently housed Tequila Rita's, 1131 N. Water St., is for sale. It features two floors of lounge space and Water Street's only rooftop deck. Prior to housing Tequila Rita's, Terrace Bar occupied the space.
Margaritas -- MP, the Public Market's version of Margarita Paradise, should be open this week. The owners are awaiting final inspections and completion of the build-out.

He owns a condo in Downtown and lives in greater Milwaukee with his wife Stephanie, his son, Jake, and daughter Pierce. He's a political, music, sports and news junkie and thinks, for what it's worth, that all new movies should be released in theaters, on demand, online and on DVD simultaneously.
He also thinks you should read OnMilwaukee each and every day.
