Whether you are pleased or displeased with the results of the elections, they are over and it's time to move forward. For closure, OnMilwaukee.com had to ask the Social Circle one last question: were you surprised by the outcome of any of the elections.

Christopher Corona: "Yes and yes."

Brian Eckes: "No one was surprised at the Colorado and Washington amendments? That just started a lot of sh*t."

Lora Fabiszewski Goedland: "Unfortunately, no."

Patrice Harris: "I was surprised that Minnesota brought back Michelle Bachmann. Was that simply for entertainment purposes?"

Stacy La Point: "Not really surprised, but wishing California would've said no to the death penalty and yes to labeling GMOs. I guess we can't have it all."

Monica Lilta LeMaster: "You wouldn't have to phrase the question that way if you were in the Bay Area. I'm in such a bubble out here that I forget about the political divide in Wisconsin. I also can't believe 37 didn't pass and don't understand why people kept the death penalty."

"College Dave" Mikolajek: "Yes. Because if Clint Eastwood says that you should be fired, you should be fired."

Pablo Muirhead: "Michele Bachmann? Seriously, Minnesota?"

Jenny Olin-Fox: "After Scott Waller won the recall I have to admit I was very nervous about this election. Today I am proud to say I am from Wisconsin."

Matheau Recht: "No."

Elena Reed-Nichols: "I thought it was going to be closer and that we wouldn't know the winner until today."

Scott Sloan: "Amazed Tommy lost. Thought name recognition alone would be worth five more points than Romney got."

Neal Steffek: "Not shocked. The quality of people has lowered. Proof is they voted BW3 best wings in Milwaukee."

Jack Stewart: "I surprised to see that Joseph Czarnezki was elected County Clerk."

Carrie Wisniewski: "Not at all."
