Welcome to a weekly segment called "Social Circle." It's OnMilwaukee.com's first article that's truly a group effort between readers, social networkers and the OnMilwaukee.com editors.

Every Monday, we ask a question via Facebook and Twitter and then post the responses from our Facebook "likers" and Twitter followers in the Thursday column. Well-known Milwaukee movers and shakers will contribute, too.

OnMilwaukee.com does its best to provide interesting, Brew City-centric content and articles that readers won't find anywhere else. The editors are always open to story ideas and this week, they turn to members of the Social Circle to hear what they want to read.

Feel free to contribute your article ideas via the Talkback feature.

Alejandro Prego Berjon: "Something that challenges people to change and really think. Asking tough questions, exposing people for the 'funnies' they are. It's like an infection that's ravaging this country, we don't seem to be able to make tough decisions any more, and in so doing, we've created a culture of avoidance, one that says 'no' to everything that might upset someone, instead of saying 'yes' and taking bold steps."

Sura Faraj: "Cannoli! Pepperoni! I want to know who that guy is."

Russ Fascia: "Road Salt: its use and abuse."

Kevin Frank: "Men's health during Pancreatic Cancer awareness month. Men's health so often falls behind the awareness that women's has. Or spotlight MADACC (animal control), since so few are aware of what they do for animals and that it is the first step to recovering a lost pet. Also they are getting a new ED this month."

Anthony Garrison: "Why Milwaukee is the best damn place on planet Earth."

Rachel Goeden: "One about my organization's (called We Run This) effort to get women runners into free shoes to get and keep them running healthily!"

Tammy Kolbe: "How obnoxious it is that X-mas stuff is out already or stuff to do in winter besides sitting at a bar."

Tom Loblow: "Stand up comedy."

Lisa Malmarowski: "I follow a blog called 'Scouting New York' and he's always finding interesting bits of hidden NYC history lurking in buildings, etc. It would be cool to see OnMilwaukee do something similar – hidden Milwaukee."

Dave Mikolajek: "Jose the barber on KK."

Sarah Anne Minella: "‎Sophia Gatti Taylor of Wisdom Wellness. She has gone through hell and back and birthed a life-changing program from it. Or Dave Swanson of Braise. They are opening soon and they are a most AMAZING community supported restaurant. Or check out Tony Schueller of Anton Music Productions as well. He is an amazing producer with a great vision for the future of the Milwaukee music scene."

Ted Perry: "Front Row Amy. It's been almost 48 hours since the last article."

Marla Schmidt: "smallbusinesssaturday.com."

Bret Spangenberg: "Places for the best pie, mainly cherry."

Gary Thurner, Jr: "I was just thinking something superficial like women in tennis outfits or yoga pants. @Rachel's idea not only provided a topic for an article that could provide opportunities for women's health and wellness, but also provides the potential for me(n) to satisfy such shallow desires. OnMilwaukee, I think it's a win, win for me(n), women, Rachel and the community."

Mitchell Wakefield: "Freeway, the man. Just turned 50 and is arguably Milwaukee's most legendary and visible living icon since Dick Bacon died. Or Frank Pecoraro, the pepperoni cannoli guy."

Shelly Willems: "What to do away from the malls on Black Friday. I'm planning going to the Milwaukee Art Museum to get my Impressionism on."
