What would Milwaukee be without its lakefront?

Lake Michigan keeps us cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter (sort of) and most importantly, keeps us hydrated and gives us a playground that folks elsewhere in the country would give anything to enjoy.

But let's be honest; how many of us actually visit the shores of Lake Michigan? It's there, it's beautiful and has plenty of options for visitors but a large percentage of residents here only come in contact with this amazing resource during Summerfest or another summer festival.
