For some people, dating a local celebrity like a television reporter, politician or professional sports star would be fun and exciting. For others, it would be completely annoying. Where do you fall on the spectrum? Would you date -- or have you dated -- a local celebrity? Sound-off, Milwaukee!
No way. Dating a local celebrity would be a complete drag. I would hate having people whisper about us whenever we went anywhere in public or walk up to our table at a restaurant. I like my romantic affairs to be way more private, which wouldn't be possible if I dated someone recognizable. Plus, if the media exposed the affair it would make it very difficult to have a "normal" relationship.
No problem. Dating a local celeb wouldn't phase me. In fact, I wouldn't mind dating someone "locally famous" in the least. It's definitely a "big fish in a small pond" kind of situation, but I think it could be a lot of fun. And anyway, I don't date people because of what they do for a living -- I date them because of who they are.
