Sprecher Brewing Co., 701 W. Glendale Ave. in Glendale, is introducing something new and oh-so-sweet, just in time for summer.
The brewery’s new, limited-edition Door County Cherry Soda is made exclusively with grade A Montmorency cherries from Cherry De-Lite, one of Door County’s premier cherry growers, and it will be available in 16-ounce cans beginning on Thursday, June 1.
“We’re taking Cherry De-Lite’s high quality cherry juice and masterfully blending it with raw Wisconsin honey in our gas-fired brew kettles,” says Sharad Chadha, Sprecher CEO. “The result is a soda filled with love, flavor, and a creamy mouthfeel. Sprecher is committed to partnering with local companies to produce innovative and fun new product offerings.”
But don’t wait long to get yours. The one-time production craft soda was brewed in limited quantity and is expected to sell out quickly, according to Gary Goldstein, chief sales officer for Sprecher Brewery, who notes that it was a privilege to partner with longtime cherry grower Cherry De-Lite for the new product.
Starting on Friday, Door County Cherry Soda will be available at select retail outlets including Metro Market, Pick ‘N Save, Marianos, Metcalfe’s Market, Sendik’s, Festival Foods, Piggly Wiggly, Trigs, Woodman’s Markets as well as additional Sprecher retailers throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
The new limited-edition Door County Cherry Soda is among more than 20 different craft sodas made by Sprecher Brewing Company, including their world-famous, award-winning Sprecher Root Beer.
