Sprecher Brewing is bringing its family friendly Soda with Santa event back to its Glendale brewery, 701 W. Glendale Ave., on a string of Sundays.
The holiday tour and soda sampling event, with an appearance by jolly ol' Saint Nick, takes place Nov. 17 and 26, and Dec. 3, 10 and 17, with sessions at 11:30 a.m., 1:30, 3, 4 and 5 p.m.
Advance tickets are required for everyone present and you can book at sprecherbrewery.com/blogs/blog/soda-with-santa-2023-dates.
Tours are $12 for adults and $8 for minors plus a $1 ticketing fee. That includes a commemorative glass, unlimited soda samples and adults 21 and up get four 8-ounce beer samples. To snare a picture with Santa, families must commit to purchasing a 12-pack or more of custom root beer labels at $2.25 a bottle.
Guests who want a picture with Santa must arrive 45 minutes before their tour time for the photo, which will adorn the soda bottle labels.
The custom labels will be available shortly after their tour is completed, but if you're willing to wait 48 hours to pick up your custom label order you'll get an additional four-pack of root beer featuring their custom labels for free.
Guests can also choose to have their picture with Santa emailed to them for $10.
“This fun event, allows families to not only tour our brewery but also have their picture taken with Santa if they want to create a custom root beer label that is the perfect holiday gift,” says Sprecher Director of Hospitality, Caroline O’Halloran.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he lived until he was 17, Bobby received his BA-Mass Communications from UWM in 1989 and has lived in Walker's Point, Bay View, Enderis Park, South Milwaukee and on the East Side.
He has published three non-fiction books in Italy – including one about an event in Milwaukee history, which was published in the U.S. in autumn 2010. Four more books, all about Milwaukee, have been published by The History Press.
With his most recent band, The Yell Leaders, Bobby released four LPs and had a songs featured in episodes of TV's "Party of Five" and "Dawson's Creek," and films in Japan, South America and the U.S. The Yell Leaders were named the best unsigned band in their region by VH-1 as part of its Rock Across America 1998 Tour. Most recently, the band contributed tracks to a UK vinyl/CD tribute to the Redskins and collaborated on a track with Italian novelist Enrico Remmert.
He's produced three installments of the "OMCD" series of local music compilations for OnMilwaukee.com and in 2007 produced a CD of Italian music and poetry.
In 2005, he was awarded the City of Asti's (Italy) Journalism Prize for his work focusing on that area. He has also won awards from the Milwaukee Press Club.
He has be heard on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee talking about his "Urban Spelunking" series of stories, in that station's most popular podcast.
