Sprecher Brewing Company brought home eight awards in this year’s Los Angeles International Beer Competition, which took place on June 7-8.

Since 2000, the L.A. International Beer Competition has employed blind-tasting methods with an esteemed panel of judges to award medals to the best beers from around the world.

Sprecher Brewing Company was among those with top honors, bringing home eight medals for its submissions.

Gold medal winners included Sprecher’s Special Amber, Irish Stout, Mai Bock and Piper’s Scotch Ale.

Beyond, Sprecher’s specialty honey beer brought home a silver medal. And bronze medals went to IPA2, an English style IPA, Generation Porter, and Shakparo, Sprecher’s gluten-free offering, which also won a bronze at the 2014 World Beer Cup earlier this year.

Lakefront Brewery also brought home the gold with its American style pale ale, Extended Play, as well as a silver medal for gluten-free New Grist and a bronze for Wisconsinite wheat ale.

Sheboygan’s 3 Sheeps won a gold for its Baaad Boy wheat and an honorable mention for "Hello, My Name Is Joe" coffee flavored brew.
