Good news and bad news: St. Patrick's Day is coming up, but it's on a Monday this year. Between bar crawls, Irish music, Irish eats and more, the city has plenty of excuses to get into your finest green garb and get your Celtic celebration on, and maybe, just maybe, you call in from work on Monday. Here are a lucky batch of 13 events hosted this St. Patrick's Day weekend that will have you dancing a jig in the streets (responsibly, of course.)

57th Shamrock Club of Wisconsin St. Patrick's Day Parade

St. Patrick's Day weekend kicks off with the Shamrock Club's annual St. Patrick's Day parade, presented by Miller Lite. The parade runs from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to Wisconsin Ave., then finishes at the corner of Water and Highland. There's plenty of parties along the way, and Downtown will be buzzing with plenty of after-parade celebrations

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at this Irish gem in South Milwaukee! Moran’s Pub hosts a St. Patrick's Day celebration that spans multiple weeks, but they'll kick things into high gear this weekend. They'll start the weekend with a block party on Saturday that also includes their first ever Beer Run, with laps around the block and four-ounce beers on every lap. Most laps in 30 minutes wins.

Then, on St. Patrick's Day, there's a full slate of entertainment, with bagpipes, traditional Irish dances, pub music and more. Nobody does St. Patrick's Day like Moran's Pub.
