Dining Month is brought to you through a partnership with Educators Credit Union, Potawatomi Hotel Casino and Saint Kate Arts Hotel.
What better way to celebrate National Coffee Day than with some piping-hot local news? The Wisconsin Center District (WCD) just announced that Stone Creek Coffee is now the official coffee partner for the Baird Center, UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena and Miller High Life Theatre.
That means early-morning conventions, late-night concerts and everything in between will now be fueled by one of Milwaukee’s most beloved roasters.
“Stone Creek Coffee has been roasting in the heart of our city for more than 30 years and we’re thrilled guests to our venues will now enjoy a truly local flavor,” said Marty Brooks, WCD president and CEO.
Stone Creek, founded in 1993, is a Certified B Corporation known for its “Farm to Cup” philosophy, which blends quality coffee with sustainability and community impact. With nine cafés and a historic Fifth Street roastery, the brand has become synonymous with Milwaukee coffee culture.
“This partnership just makes sense,” said Drew Pond, Stone Creek co-owner. “We roast our coffee just a few blocks from these venues. We both care about quality, craft and community. This partnership is about what coffee represents: early mornings, big ideas, packed crowds, loud moments, quiet prep. Milwaukee built us and now we get to help fuel the city’s biggest stages.”
For WCD, which hosts hundreds of events each year, it’s one more way to showcase Milwaukee to the world and give visitors a taste of local pride one cup at a time.
So raise your mug, Milwaukee. Your next arena show, convention or theater night just got a little more caffeinated.
