The Big Gig has added the latest piece to its star-studded headliner lineup, as rock legends Guns N' Roses today announced that they're headed on tour in North America – including a surely fireworks-filled stop at Summerfest on the Fourth of July.

The gig marks Guns N' Roses first in Milwaukee since 2017, when the band hit the BMO Harris Bradley Center as a part of its "Not in This Lifetime ..." tour.

Tickets for the Summerfest show will go on sale to the public on Friday, Feb. 7 at noon at LiveNation.com. However, there is a presale for GNR "Nightrain" fan club members that begins Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m., as well as a presale for Citi cardmembers running Tuesday, Feb. 4 at noon through Thursday, Feb. 6 at 10 p.m. For more information on getting in on either presale, visit Guns N' Roses' website or Citi Entertainment's website.

Here's where Summerfest's biggest stage stands now with Guns N' Roses:

  • June 24 – Justin Bieber
  • June 25 – Luke Bryan
  • June 26 – TBA
  • June 27 – TBA
  • June 28 – TBA

  • July 1 – Ozzy Osbourne and Marilyn Manson
  • July 2 – Dave Matthews Band

There's still plenty to announce, though – including the grounds stage acts – so stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more Big Gig announcements.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
