The most American of unofficial holidays will kickoff on Sunday: the Super Bowl. And while it may be yet another Packers-less fight for the Lombardi Trophy this Sunday, there are still plenty of reasons to gather for the big game – most notably these Milwaukee and Milwaukee-area watering holes that are going all out for the latest chapter of the Taylor Swift extended universe.

Whether you're watching for the Chiefs, the Niners, the ads, the Usher halftime concert or the excuse to get out of the house on a grey Sunday night in February, here are more than 20 local spots that'll make super destinations for your Super Bowl watching needs. (And for even more options, check out our general sports bar guide, featuring all sorts of places certain to be showing the game.)

Matt Mueller Culture Editor

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
