Tavern Tours, sponsored by Miller Brewing Company, invites people to meet at a different Milwaukee tavern for a Wednesday happy hour a few times a year. The outing includes free pizza and beer, but also the chance to dive a little deeper into tavern culture, one that Milwaukee excels at.
The next tour takes place at Dark Horse Tavern, a woman-owned tavern in Walker's Point located at 1517 S. 2nd St. The fun is set for Wednesday, June 18 from 6 to 8 p.m.
During this event guests will receive:
- Two free drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
- Complimentary pizza from Transfer Pizzeria
- Tavern Tour swag
- A behind-the-bar discussion with Monica De Palma, owner of Dark Horse, Monica's On Astor and The Y-NOT II.
- An intro to bar culture such as dice, pool and more.
- Hang out with OnMilwaukee staff, OnMilwaukee readers, bartenders and “regulars.”
