There’s a new reason to dine at Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, 139 E. Kilbourn Ave.

The Downtown hotel, well known for its artistic flair and one-of-a-kind experiences, has debuted The Studio Kitchen & Cocktails, a lively new second-floor dining concept in the space that formerly housed ARIA and Giggly.  And it's designed expressly as a hub for inspired food, handcrafted drinks and social connection.

On the menu

Whether you’re in the mood for sushi, a seasonal entrée, or a cocktail that doubles as a work of art, The Studio delivers. The menu highlights bold, fresh ingredients in dishes like Mediterranean sea bass with rustic saffron, garlic and caper white wine sauce; and vegetarian options like rigatoni with wild mushrooms, broccolini, pine nuts, tomato confit, sage and Sarvecchio cheese.

Meanwhile, the bar shakes up signature creations such as the “Staycation” (Hayman’s Old Tom Gin, basil, mango, pineapple, grapefruit and lime). Guests looking for alternatives will also find an array of non-alcoholic options and even THC-infused sippers like grapefruit paloma, mango guava, lemon-lime and lemonade iced tea.

A new era

“The Studio Kitchen & Cocktails sets the stage for a new era of dining at Saint Kate,” says General Manager Dana Johnson. “We’ve designed an experience that’s approachable yet elevated, with flavor-forward menu items, exceptional service and a vibe as bold as Milwaukee’s spirit.”

The Studio isn’t just about what’s on the plate or in the glass. It’s also about the atmosphere. Located in the heart of the Milwaukee Theater District and just steps away from Fiserv Forum and the expanded Baird Center, it’s a natural stop for a pre-show dinner, post-game celebration, mid-week happy hour, or a weekend brunch with friends.

For a more intimate experience, the venue still houses The Dark Room, one of Milwaukee’s most coveted private dining spaces.

Guests can enjoy The Studio for breakfast Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. or dinner daily from 5 to 9 p.m. Weekend brunch is also available on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The bar keeps the creative energy flowing later, with hours stretching into the evening seven days a week.

Reservations are available through OpenTable.
