When UWM men's basketball coach Rob Jeter has the Panthers run "The Hill," it's part conditioning exercise, part team-building and part torture.

The athletes gather across across from Bradford Beach for a series of grueling sprints. They begin the fall doing 10 and work their way up to 22. All of the sprints must be completed in a prescribed time, and Jeter -- who performed the drill during his playing days under coach Bo Ryan at UW-Platteville -- stands at the top of the hill to supervise.

OnMilwaukee.com and Mindpool Productions attended a recent workout for this video feature. Get a cold drink, watch it and think about what it's like to be in awesome shape like a Division I basketball player.
