March is Women's History (Herstory?) Month and The Third Ward's got game. A Bingo game, that is.

The Historic Third Ward's Woman-Owned Business Bingo runs from Saturday, March 8 – which is "International Women's Day" – through Monday, March 31.

To play, simply pick up a bingo card at any of the 20 participating locations. Spend a minimum of $5 at any of the shops or restaurants and receive a stamp. After completing a row of stamps in any direction, bring the completed card to Broadway Paper, 191 N. Broadway, to draw from a bag of $25 gift cards to one of the businesses. Easy Peasy!

Participating businesses, all of which are at least 50-percent women-owned,  include Lela Boutique, Broadway Paper, Shoo, Sweetly Baked, Bavette, Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop, Tied House, A-Trio Jewelry, Donut Monster, Salty Paws, Performance Running Outfitters, Explorium Brewpub, Miss Ruby Bridal, The District Row and Mainstream Boutique, as well as Milwaukee Public Market vendors C. Adams Bakery, Thai-namite, David Alan Alan’s Smokehouse & Saloon, Margarita Paradise and Freese’s Candy Shoppe.

Alrighty, let's shop with purpose!
