Vino 100 opens its Historic Third Ward location at 102 N. Water St. suite C, on April 1.

It's the third area franchise for Vino 100 and should prove a perfect replacement for New World Wine, which closed in March 2007.

The space features a wine bar, and according to the store Web site it also will feature daily happy hours from 4 to 6 p.m.  Vino 100 is owned locally by Melissa Perrigoue and Craig Schmitt.
