Bars and restaurants hoping to attract guests this winter are becoming next-level creative with their outdoor options. The Tied House, 124 N. Water St., announced today they were planning a "festive and fabulous outdoor experience" on their patio called the Tied House Chalet.

"We plan on serving a variety of hot alcoholic beverages and hot bites under hot outdoor heaters. Plan to get cozy in this experience, bring a blankie and let’s enjoy safe, wintery weekends together under the stars," reads the Instagram post.

The Tied House opened in 2018 in the historic Third Ward building formerly occupied by Irish Pub and the iconic M&M Club.

It sounds like the Chalet will also provide also an opportunity to show off your new winter fashion, so now's the time to start shopping for wonderfully warm layers.

"Some of us may even be sporting a 1980s snowsuit and moon boots because it seems like an absolutely necessary fashion decision and well, why the heck not?" reads the post.

Exactly. Why the heck not?
