Rumors have been swirling around town that Trader Joes, a specialty discount grocery and liquor store perhaps best known for the Two Buck Chuck wine it sells, is coming to the area.
While some have said that the first location will open at the revamped Bayshore, others have said the company plans to open next year on Bluemound Road on the site of a former PDQ.
But Diane OConnor, the Massachusetts-based corporate media spokeswoman for the company, which has corporate offices in California and Massachusetts, was tight-lipped, saying only that Trader Joes has not signed a lease in Wisconsin and that any rumors are just that hearsay.
