So, I told you a few months ago that Treat Bake Shop started an amazing new tradition called #CookieFriday during which its kitchen turns out some of the most delectable cookies I’ve tasted (thanks to great ingredients like European style butter and great chocolate, along with some serious cookie-baking expertise).

Well, the deal has gotten even better.

Thanks to a partnership with Flavor Cycle, Milwaukee's on-demand bike messenger service, Treat now offers delivery of its delicious cookies to the Milwaukee area.

Yes, it’s true. Now, for a small fee, you can have cookies delivered right to your doorstep on Fridays. I’m not sure there’s anything better than that … or worse for our waistlines.

Cookie flavors are always changing, but here’s what’s been on the docket:

  • Lemon Raspberry Sandwich Cookie: Bright, floral raspberry preserves sandwiched between two lemon cream cheese cookies
  • Chocolate Chunk: European-style butter, dark chocolate chunks and a sprinkling of sea salt
  • Flourless Peanut Butter: Not flourless in a healthy way, but in a dense, creamy, super peanut-buttery way

And, while it looks like you could have just one delicious – but lonely – cookie delivered to your home or workplace, why not just go for a dozen? You won’t be sorry.

Cookies are available Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or until they are sold out). Cookies can be ordered in advance online or picked up at the Treat Bake Shop Kitchen in the Marshall Building, 207 E. Buffalo St., suite 212.
