There's no lack of live summer music series scattered throughout Milwaukee – but we're always game to add to the list! And today Milwaukee Downtown BID #21 did just that by announcing Tunes@Noon, a new weekly lunchtime music series coming to Thursdays at 411 East Wisconsin Center.
Beginning June 20, the courtyard at the Downtown office building will play host to live music spanning multiple genres – from folk to jazz, brass band and more – from noon until 1 p.m., including a lineup of local female performers throughout August as a part of the series's "Milwaukee Femmes" program. And for those who didn't bring their own lunch, Davians at 411 Cafe will offer new grab-and-go options each week.
Here's the lineup for the inaugural Downtown series:
June 20 – Extra Crispy Brass Band
June 27 – Joe Wray
July 4 – NO CONCERT/FOURTH OF JULY
July 11 – Liv Mueller
July 18 – Brett Newski and the No Tomorrow
July 25 – CNJ Latin Jazz

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
