It's 4:15 p.m. and our Video of the Day is wearing a black armband this afternoon.

Bo Diddley, the rock ‘n roll legend with the rectangle guitar, the signature beat and a "cobra snake for a necktie," died of heart failure Monday at his Florida home. He was 79.

Diddley suffered a stroke during a concert last May and had a heart attack in August.

Diddley's classics include "Who Do You Love?," "Bo Diddley," "Before You Accuse Me," "Mona" and "I'm A Man."

His influence can be heard on songs by Buddy Holly, the Stooges, U2, Bruce Springsteen and countless others. He will be missed.
