The snow is still coming down in Milwaukee, but some of us are thinking about summer. Summerfest today announced a second 2010 headliner. Carrie Underwood is slated to perform at the Marcus Amphitheater on Sunday, July 4.
She's only 26 years old, but she's already had quite the career. Underwood was the first country artist in history to achieve ten No. 1 singles from her first two albums. She is reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year and has been both ACM and CMA Female Vocalist of the Year for three consecutive years. Her list of awards includes five CMAs, eight ACMs, five Grammys and a host of others.
Her latest album, "Play On," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in November 2009.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m. and are available for $67 (red), $57 (yellow), $47 (bench) and $37 (lawn). All prices include Summerfest admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Marcus Amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 1 (800) 745-3000.
