The Mandel Group, today, held the Topping Off Ceremony for its University Club Tower  in Juneau Park, directly across Prospect Avenue from the tower.  University Club Tower, a 53-unit condominium building, is the tallest residential building and the third-tallest building in Wisconsin.

The ceremony included the hoisting of a beam that was placed at the highest structural point on the building.  A tree was hoisted, too, atop the beam to celebrate reaching this point without loss of life or serious injury to the workers and to signify good luck and prosperity in the future.

The tower is being developed by University Club Tower LLC that includes members, Peter L. Mahler, Barry R. Mandel, Blaine E. Rieke, and Christopher J. Smocke with Mandel Group, Inc. as the manager.  Forty-two of the 53 condominiums have been sold.
