Waterford Wine & Spirits is proud to debut its newest venture: the Farwell Wine Bar, opening Friday, July 18 at 2120 N. Farwell Avenue in the heart of Milwaukee’s East Side.
Crafted as a destination for both wine lovers and the wine-curious, the Farwell Wine Bar invites guests to relax, sip, and discover a curated selection of wines in a setting that is equal parts elegant and inviting.
More than just a spot to pop in for a glass of wine, the Farwell Wine Bar is an experience, featuring a dynamic lineup of rotating by-the-glass pours from exciting producers around the world. From rare gems and seasonal sips to staff favorites and hidden treasures, there’s always something new to discover. Light gourmet snacks will round out the experience.

Waterford Wine & Spirits on Farwell is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. The Wine Bar will be open during all regular Waterford store hours, except for Thursday evenings, which are reserved for the shop’s beloved wine seminars.

Her passion for the culinary industry was birthed while balancing A&W root beer mugs as a teenage carhop, fed by insatiable curiosity and fueled by the people whose stories entwine with every dish. Lori is the author of two books: the "Wisconsin Field to Fork" cookbook and "Milwaukee Food". Her work has garnered journalism awards from entities including the Milwaukee Press Club. In 2024, Lori was honored with a "Top 20 Women in Hospitality to Watch" award by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association.
When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or planning for TV and radio spots, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
