Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks entered play Sunday with a 24-game errorless streak.

The end was costly.

Weeks misplayed what appeared to be a routine double-play chopper hit by Justin Morneau in the third inning Sunday at the Metrodome. Two runs scored on the play and five came across in the inning as the Twins opened a big lead en route to a 8-0 victory.

The Brewers return home to face Cincinnati in matinee games Monday and Tuesday at Miller Park. When the Reds leave town, the Brewers will play host the Cubs in a weekend series leading up to the all-star break.

The Brewers, who have lost three in a row, finished with a 6-9 record in interleague play.
