Welcome to #WeWant, a weekly selection of the stuff OnMilwaukee.com editors and staffers love.

Open with it: Milwaukee bottle opener
I love a functional item in my kitchen or house that also serves as a talking piece. This "Milwaukee map opener" is one of them! The handmade item includes a vintage mini-map of Milwaukee and is a great gift for hosts, friends or maybe your groomsmen in a wedding party. If you are looking for a lady "ish" gift you could go the route of their bottle stopper! –Carolynn Buser

Cook with them: Le Creuset five-piece cast iron cookware
Someday, when I grow up, I am going to replace my cookware with this set. I have been looking at it for 15 years – I am smitten with the quality as well as the color – and yet I continue to buy cheap-o pots and pans, some of which need to be replaced every couple of years. I do a crap-ton of cooking, so I could easily justify the cost, but my frugal side is tough to convince that it's the right thing to do. – Molly Snyder

Use them: Modern-twist silk-screened placemats
If you have kids, you know that keeping a nice-looking dining room table is a daily challenge, with spills, crumbs and splats being the order of the day most of the time. Enter Modern-twist's attractive and extremely functional 14x16-inch placemats, made of food-safe silicone, so they're super easy to clean and won't stain. They're also hand silk-screened in attractive modern motifs, so they look good, too. Modern-twist also makes table runners out of the same material, but what I really need is a full-on tablecloth to cover the whole shebang. – Bobby Tanzilo

Cut it: SOG Key Knife
There are numerous reasons to keep a little knife on you at all times, but nine times out of 10, I will forget to stow one in my pocket (or EDC, as they say) before leaving work. That’s where SOG Specialty Knives & Tools KEY-101 Key Knife comes in so handy. It may look like a novelty, but it isn’t. Rather, it’s a 1.5-inch, super sharp and stable knife that retracts into a key-shaped holder and fits on your keychain. When opened and safely locked, its overall length in four inches. Don’t think of this as a self-defense tool; rather for something opening boxes or other little tasks. That’s always on your person. At only about $10, it has super-high ratings on Amazon. Well worth it. – Andy Tarnoff

Click It: Anker Wireless Vertical Mouse
I don't like mice; I'll take the keyboard shortcut every time. It's obnoxious to me to reach all the way over there and the mouse is never comfortable to use (especially for taller people whose desks are already too short). I've been eyeing Jason's vertical mouse for years, but that's a steep price point for a peripheral I avoid. This more reasonably priced Anker is more my speed and will give me a chance to test-drive the idea before jumping in on a higher-quality model. – Nick Barth
