In my early 20s, I was a white wine only girl – actually, more like a Franzia boxed wine only girl. But now that I'm fast approaching the big 3-0, I have learned to love all things red wine. I mean, I love it so much I have even incorporated the color into my fall wardrobe this season!
When I got this wine-colored velvet suit in from Eloquii, I couldn't decide what to wear with it. Do I put lace with it? Leather? Black? White? There were so many options. Then it hit me, why try to break up the color? So I embraced the color and made my entire look monochromatic.

I added some furry wine-colored heels and a leopard bag to have some extra texture elements to the look and make it more interesting. Best part about it? I can spill my wine and no one will ever know!
