This feature was made possible through a partnership with Boelter SuperStore, where you can "shop with the pros".
For nearly a century, Boelter has been the behind-the-scenes powerhouse outfitting professional kitchens with the tools they need to shine, from gleaming ranges in bustling restaurants to precision refrigeration in gourmet bakeries.
Now, Milwaukee home cooks can get the same pro-level expertise.
This February, Boelter opened a Residential Appliance Showroom inside their Superstore at 4200 N. Port Washington Rd. in Glendale. There, they can offer the same personalized service they’ve perfected for chefs to anyone looking to upgrade their home kitchen or laundry.
The space showcases high-quality brands, with an emphasis on American-made excellence with brands like Viking, AGA, Uline and Speed Queen. They also stock a curated selection of professional-grade cookware, so you can outfit your kitchen from range to roasting pan in one trip.
A showroom for dream kitchens
The showroom makes it possible to peruse displays of ranges, fridges, wall ovens, steam ovens, under-counter refrigeration, ice makers, dishwashers, washers, dryers and sleek hoods.
But you can also feel the difference. Boelter offers hands-on demos for gas ranges, induction cooktops, steam ovens and wall ovens so you can see exactly how they’ll perform in your home.
Your kitchen, your way
Set up an appointment online, and you’ll meet with Scott Acker, Boelter’s Residential Appliance Specialist, for a deep dive into your cooking style, household needs, and design vision.
“If you’re renovating your kitchen, we’ll talk about how you cook, how you entertain, and even how you reheat food,” says Acker. “The more I know, the better I can help you find appliances that fit your lifestyle.”
From the swing of your refrigerator door to the perfect balance of function and style, no detail is too small. “You can have both function and aesthetic,” Acker says. “It just takes a conversation about what’s important to you.”
No pressure, all precision
Boelter prides itself on a no-rush, no-push approach. They will work with you every step of the way, from product selection to delivery and installation.
Most of all, they want you to be satisfied. If you have a question, even an oddly specific one, Acker will track down the answer. (“How much weight can a range top hold?” A customer once asked. He called the manufacturer, who didn’t know… but they tested it out and got back to him with an answer.)
Know before you go
