Zim's, a contemporary sports bar, will open on July 13 inside the former Michael H. Lord Gallery space at 770 N. Milwaukee St.
Zim's hopes to become "the place to watch the game" while featuring "entertainment all the time," says owner Mike Zimmer, a downtown resident and Wauwatosa native.
Zimmer is creating a space inside the two-story 4,000 sq. foot former art gallery that will be "clean and modern" and “not a 'jersey on the wall' type of place."
Zim's will feature food, 10-15 televisions and an innovative design by Quorum Architects, the firm who did Barclay Gallery and Café and Metro Eye in the Historic Third Ward.
