According to a Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service report, tensions were high during an almost two-hour discussion over the proposal to place Carmen, an MPS charter school, under the same roof as Pulaski, a longstanding traditional high school. The eventual vote came in 5-4 in favor of the proposed partnership.
