CNN posted a travel column Monday by homegrown writer Ted Loos, who says he's "a softy for Milwaukee." Growing up here in the '80s, Loos writes that in the past Milwaukee was "irredeemably dorky" but on a recent visit he says he now realizes what people find appealing in the city.
