From the outside, Garance "Gar" Nelson's home looks a fairly ordinary house. You would never know from looking at it that in the basement lies a time machine, teleporting visitors to a glowing world of robotic battles, demons, space travel and yellow creatures with an unquenchable hunger for white dots and ghosts. The days of arcades as a cultural mainstay have long since died, but in Nelson's basement, the era is still alive and well.
