Last week, Downtown welcomed a new hotel, SpringHill Suites. Fifty years ago this summer, the Commerce Building was also welcoming a new tenant, as the Ad Lib Nightclub opened at 323 W. Wells St., kicking off 10 years of non-stop, go-go drama.
