The odds are good you've seen "The Connection" before - and not just because of its titular and topical relationship to William Friedkin's award-winning action hall of famer "The French Connection." Still, while the French true crime drama wears old threads, much like its award-winning retro-brand star Jean Dujardin, at least it wears them well.
