The Great Milwaukee Summer is HERE! Your guide to what you'll be doing, where you'll be drinking, who you'll be hearing and how you'll be getting a sweet tan this summer is on OnMilwaukee. The Great Milwaukee Summer guide is brought to you by Educators Credit Union and Harley-Davidson Museum

The Bartolotta Restaurants are getting ready to celebrate the seasonal grand opening of the Roundhouse Beer Garden at McKinley Marina, 1750 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr.

The celebration, which takes place on Thursday, May 25 from 4 to 8 p.m., will welcome the second season of the beer garden with live entertainment, new menu items and spectacular views of Lake Michigan.  As an added bonus, the first 100 beers sold will be on the house.

Guests who visit Roundhouse Beer Garden this summer will be treated to a number of new offerings. That includes live music on Sunday evenings, new games in the outdoor yard and a bring-your-own-pint-glass beer discount, which aims to reduce plastic waste.

In addition to popular offerings like Milwaukee Pretzel Company Bavarian Beast pretzels served with Roundhouse sauce and boozy slushies, guests can also expect new items at the beer garden including a Walking Lobster Roll, a Boar's Head hotdog and Johnsonville bratwurst and cheddarwurst.

“We are thrilled that Roundhouse Beer Garden at McKinley Marina has quickly become a staple of summer days on Lake Michigan, a place where families can play outdoor games and friends can enjoy a cold drink near the water while taking in the incredible views of the lake and marina,” says Chef Paul Bartolotta, owner and co-founder of The Bartolotta Restaurants.

“We are proud to be a partner of Milwaukee County Parks and provide this amenity to the community while supporting small, local businesses through our menu items.”

Beginning Friday, May 26, hours at the Roundhouse Beer Garden will be Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Bartolotta Restaurants hope to expand hours as the season progresses.

The beer garden is open to the public throughout the summer season and parking is free. For more information visit roundhousemke.com.
