Beginning today, Thursday, Oct. 31, Estabrook Beer Garden is selling its Hofbräu beers, imported from Munich, Germany, on tap at half price, while supplies last.
According to operator Hans Weissgerber III, this "annual season-ending blow out" is starting two days earlier than normal this year.
"With cloudy and cooling weather following a stretch of unseasonably tropical temperatures, the beer garden is hoping to stimulate some enthusiasm by starting bargain beer price two days early," he said.
The half-off deal usually runs only the last two days of the season.
This is the beer garden's 12th season.
In addition to enjoying half-price beer, you can also buy the beer garden furniture this autumn.
The Estabrook Beer Garden will replace 90 percent of its beer garden furniture next spring and so the traditional table and bench sets are available for purchase. T
According to Weissgerber's statement Thursday, "The weathered sets are still sturdy and can be easily refinished for use in your backyard beer garden. This opportunity only comes along every four to five years, so get yours before they are all gone."
Estabrook Beer Garden will open at noon daily through this Sunday, Nov. 3. Closing time depends on attendance after sunset.
Remember that 2o percent of the beer garden’s gross revenue goes to Milwaukee County, though that money cannot be directed specifically to the park. Thus, the beer garden also partners with the Friends of Estabrook Park for projects like rebuilding stairs, improving trails, restoring park amenities and planting trees.
