Jordin Tootoo and Sheldon Brookbank, two popular and productive players for the Admirals, signed free-agent contracts with parent club Nashville on Friday. Tootoo signed a two-year deal, while Brookbank signed for one year. The Predators also signed forward Ramzi Abid to a one-year deal. Abid played for the Chicago Wolves last year, leading the team in goals (34), assists (42) and points (76).

The Admirals, who announced the resignation of longtime executive Phil Wittliff on Thursday, are selling season tickets for the 2006-'07 season.
