Amped, Wisconsin’s first private suite karaoke bar that doubles as a space for creative meetings and events, will open Thursday, Dec. 1 at 910 W. Juneau Ave.

The 9,000-square-feet space features eight private suite karaoke rooms, two premier karaoke suites, two meeting/event rooms, a full bar and a catering kitchen.

"Private suite karaoke has been on my radar since I visited Shanghai in 2009,” says Bars & Recreation president, Marla Poytinger. “There is just nothing like singing, dancing and partying with friends in a private room. It’s the perfect blend of singing in your car on a road trip and an energetic dance club.”

Meeting groups can book the all-inclusive day package and add on a team building activity at any of Bars & Rec’s venues: AXE MKE, NorthSouth Club or Nine Below.

“Team building is at the heart of what we do, so creative meeting space is a natural extension. The event spaces will transition from meetings to social events with ease, and that’s part of what makes both meetings and events with us unique. We think planners and attendees will love this outside the box venue,” says Marketing Manager Erin Hochevar.
