Want to hear some great-sounding news? Bayshore's Sounds of Summer is back, rocking out in 2024 with an impressive new lineup of local acts hitting The Yard this upcoming season.

Hitting the stage every Friday night from 6-9 p.m., Bayshore's Sounds of Summer outdoor concert series – presented by OnMilwaukee and Milwaukee Radio Group – will celebrate its fifth season of stellar live music in its central open-air green space beginning June 7 and running through the end of August. Each evening will feature food surrounding the space from local food trucks, vendors showcasing their wares, tasty brews and beverages from The Tap beer garden found right nearby, and – of course – marvelous music taking the stage each night, filling The Yard with great tunes and even greater company.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
