Earlier tonight, an impressive crowd gathered in front of the brand new, red-and-white balloon-adorned Target while the Nicolet High School band jammed and the Milwaukee Milkmen's Bo Vine Mascot and Target's Bullseye The Dog Mascot grooved out. It was a joyous occasion for many.

The long-awaited, multi-level store is located at Bayshore, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., in the space formerly occupied by Boston Store. It will open to the public Sunday, Oct. 24.

This is Target's 14th Greater Milwaukee location and the area's first two-story Target. The Bayshore Target is part of a multi-year revamping effort under manager Cypress Equities.
